Since I was a child growing up in rural Connecticut, I had a passion for photography. My uncle would take me on photo walks to shoot antique steam locomotives, lakes & covered bridges during the fall foliage season. Armed with my hand-me-down Kodak Brownie camera, I learned about photography from him. His film camera was a 35mm Nikkormat film camera and to this day I shoot with Nikon. Fast forward to 2011 when my love of dogs and canine sports like Agility, Dock Diving, Disc Dog (UpDog), Flyball & Fast CAT, paired with my photography skills seemed like a perfect match. I then started Performance Dog Photography. I have since added equine sports like Jumpers & Hunters and barrel racing. I also shoot nature, landscape, and seascape images. Since I became a certified FAA Part 107 Remote (Drone) Pilot, I have added aerial photography to my specialties and can shoot drone photos/movies where permitted. Being sailor, I enjoy shooting regattas from the shore and the air with my drone. I also volunteer shooting adoptable dog photos for a central Florida rescue organization, and I am the event photographer for a community drone expo at a Tampa Bay school.
